When I’m not behind the camera, I work as a professional motorsport engineer — a world where preparation, precision, and performance matter. That mindset carries directly into my photography. Whether I’m capturing an athlete’s intensity or a senior’s confidence, I’m always aiming for the top step of the podium. 🏆
Family, Gratitude, and the Stories That Matter
I’m grateful for the opportunities my wife and kids have given me to celebrate them through portraits and action images — from sports 🤼🏐🏹🚣 to band 🎺 at NHS and HMS. They’re the reason I understand how meaningful these moments are, and why I approach every session with intention and care.
Always Learning, Always Improving
Just like in engineering, I’m constantly learning and refining my craft.
Over the past few years, I’ve studied through:
- In-person classes at Schoolcraft College
- On-line courses from a variety of instructors including portrait photographers Sue Bryce and Felix Kunze
- Learning from sports photographers Rod Mar and James Quantz Jr.
- Participation in photography workshops
